Color Guard

Our color guard is led by Dr. Abrams.  Members of the color guard are chosen in the Spring prior to participation in the Fall. There's also a Winter Guard that interested students can try out for in the Fall. The color guard is an integral part of the Sandy Creek Band program and is supported by the Sandy Creek Band Boosters.

Concert Band

 The Concert Band is the entry level band in the Sandy Creek Band program.  It is a qualifying band for participation in the Marching Band. It consists of students matriculating from Sandy Creek's feeder middle schools and is supported by the Sandy Creek Band Boosters.

Jazz Band

The Sandy Creek Jazz Band was recently added as part of the band curriculum at Sandy Creek High School. Prior to that, it was a successful extracurricular activity for the students of which it is comprised. The Sandy Creek Jazz Band can be found performing at community events throughout the year in addition to school events and is supported by the Sandy Creek Band Boosters.

Marching Band

The Sandy Creek Marching Band is an extracurricular activity open to any SCHS student who demonstrates the necessary proficiency, exemplifies good moral and social behavior, and meets the necessary requirements. The band includes the Drum Line and Horn Line. The band performs at the halftime shows of the Sandy Creek football games and participates in one or two marching band competitions in the Fall semester. This band is supported by the Sandy Creek Band Boosters.

Percussion Ensemble

The Sandy Creek Percussion Ensemble consists of students who play the percussive instruments of the Sandy Creek Band program. This ensemble performs at school concerts throughout the school year.

Symphonic Band

The Sandy Creek Symphonic Band is the intermediate band of the Sandy Creek Band program. It is a qualifying band for participation in the Marching Band. This band performs at school concerts throughout the year and is supported by the Sandy Creek Band Boosters.

Wind Ensemble

The Sandy Creek Wind Ensemble is the advanced band of the Sandy Creek Band program. It is a qualifying band for participation in the Marching Band. This band presents stage performances at school concerts throughout the year and is supported by the Sandy Creek Band Boosters.
